Profile

After working in accounting at a food manufacturer, she moved to HAMABO. At first the change of both industry and role was confusing, but she has since spent many years as a sales assistant in the Machine Solution Division. The experience and flexibility she has built through her career change from another industry make her a support for the whole team.

Q.1

Please tell us about your current work and your role.

From quotations and orders to compiling data. The behind-the-scenes support that keeps the division running.

I work as a sales assistant, supporting sales activities for existing automotive customers and providing back-office support within the division. My daily work covers a wide range: preparing quotations and purchase orders, handling orders and purchasing, recording purchases and sales and preparing slips, first response to phone calls and visitors, compiling monthly figures, and creating various documents. It may look unglamorous, but all of it supports the foundation of the company. Working closely with the sales members, I keep in mind every day that my role is to support the smooth running of the division and the achievement of our targets.

Q.2

What do you think makes HAMABO distinctive?

The attitude of staying thoroughly close to customers is not something that belongs to the sales members alone.

For me, what makes HAMABO distinctive is the attitude of staying thoroughly close to customers and walking alongside them. Rather than simply providing the product or service that was requested, we stand at the same eye level as the customer, think deeply, understand the real requirement and then work on solving the problem. I feel that our strength and our culture are concentrated in those careful exchanges. Those values do not belong to the sales members alone. Sales assistants and members of the management administration department are included too, and I believe that building up attentive support is at the root of what HAMABO is.

Q.3

"Bridging the present and the future."
What kind of future does your work build a bridge to?

Accurate information and accumulated data lead to new proposals and the seeds of new business.

The work of a sales assistant is not a role that stands directly in front of the customer. But by grasping the information within the division accurately and sharing useful data with the sales members through internal support, I believe we can create new proposals for customers and the seeds of the next business. Even with few direct points of contact, I face my daily work believing that supporting information with accuracy and care ultimately leads to value for the customer.
